chances. but a local group has created the most epic powerball pool... they bought 73 thousand tickets! 10 news reporter courtney robinson explains why they won't be upset if they didn't win. ticket after ticket after ticket . all for two guys and one mega powerball pool. -- 757 33 we thought maybe we get. like 30 grand in next thing it was 50 and then 60 and then totally out-of- control 37 -- shane krugman and ryan mcguinness created a private facebook pool. for a buy-in of 500 dollars . these tampa friends and 290 of their friends . have increased their odds of winning. the chances one of their 73-thousand numbers hits the jackpot 1 in 4- thousand. -- 10 there's so much on the table right now at 1,000,000,000 1/2 or 1.6 billion that matter how many people we got and it didn't really matter that 34 $5 million still enough money for everyone5922 -- but running a pool this big is no game. they're working with

combing through surveillance videos along the route she was last seen. olsen's boyfriend, who found her body, has an alibi. wedndesday afternoon three people were taken to the hospital-- after a school bus...filled with kids collided with an s-u-v in riverview. two students and the other driver were checked out. thankfully, their injuries were only minor. the bus driver -- 63 year old marilyn kay ray -- was cited for causing the crash. there were 31 kids onboard-- from "summerfield crossings elementary." new this morning... a manatee county man is behind bars accused of abusing his girlfriend's 1- year-old son so badly... it killed the little boy. investigators say the child's injuries happened while in his care. 10 news reporter kendra conlon uncovers child protective services has investigated the family in the past. when 14 month old knowellan kelly arrived here at manatee memorial hospital doctors discovered he'd had several broken ribs... bruises on his chest.. as well as bleeding and swelling of his brain that they say

from those injuries - the next day. a month later - his mom's boyfriend is now charged with the baby's death. investigators say 37 year old john stewart had been watching his girlfriend's son, here at his palmetto home, while she worked. records show stewart facebook messaged mother danake crawford that the little boy had been having seizures... he even took pictures.. documenting throwing up... all signs - doctors say that would surface shortly brain and spinal from violently shaking or hitting knowellan's head. investigators insist that happened at stewart's hand. just five months earlier - child protective services looked into a complaint that crawford didn't properly care for knowellan and her 3 other kids... ages 2, 3, and 6. allowing them to run outside unattended... she'd had just been arrested in front of the kids for driving without a license... had stolen from her dad to buy drugs.. and put herself before her children. just 8 weeks before knowellan's death.... cps investigators

first restaurant red alerts of the new year. and we've found a local kitchen. with very disturbing conditions. now, we want to warn you... some of the video you are about to see is hard to watch. gyroland. is located along the 33 hundred block of north nebraska avenue. just east of i-275. 10 investigates beau zimmer. is taking you inside the kitchen. in this morning's restaurant red alert. 37:42 they got good food! good service. serving up everything from pizza. to sub sandwiches. gyroland on north nebraska avenue is popular with customers. what do you normally order there? what do you like? i like everything there. variety. different things depending on my appetite. but state records show a wide variety of health code problems. the establishment

violations. like not having soap or paper towels. dead roaches in the ice for drinks. and temperature abuse on the gyro meat. but it was rodent activity last month. that triggered the establishment's second emergency closure since october. with the inspector counting up. close to 200 droppings! 1:02 hi. i'm beau zimmer with 10news wtsp. owner ibrahim elfesh invited 10investigates into his kitchen. but almost immediately. we started spotting repeat violations. like no paper towels at this handwashing sink. and that gyro meat. still not spinning. potentially allowing it to cool to unsafe temperatures. inside the walk-in cooler. we found more problems. 9:56 so raw shrimp. they're not going to want to see that right over the fresh produce down here. we also spotted this raw chicken left uncovered. and look at what we found when we opened up this box of papaya. 11:05 i have a friend just to keep it here. he's homeless. okay so this is a homeless friend that is keeping the papaya here? i will throw it away right now. just because i'm seeing some of the mold and things like that growing on there. we also spotted

that? like leaves? there. we also spotted something in the ice bin. 15:05 what is that? like leaves? some leaves? but the most critical issue we found was the continued presence of rodent droppings all around the food prep areas. 12:33 all down here. we have a lot of rodent droppings on the floor.and this is right underneath the front counter. at one point our camera even captured what sounded like squealing.. we want to warn you. what we found. might be disturbing. a live rodent. stuck to a sticky trap. right next to food storage shelves. and the walk-in cooler. 39:47 would you feel comfortable eating there today? no. definitely not. because that's not healthy. turns out customers aren't the only ones uncomfortable. 22:31 nobody. especially me. wants to be in a kitchen like this. trust me. if my kitchen is not clean. i cannot make a sandwich. i feel like i'm itching. elfish says he and his pest control company are working hard to get the issue under control. 20:30 we try as much as we can. it's not easy to be in an area list this. and you can't control about this. and it's not going to be controlled overnight.
